Jose's Paradise is a newly-built 1 bedroom, 1 bath home located mid-island in the  Barrio of Monte Carmelo. The house sits high on a hillside where guests will enjoy   both ocean and valley views, as well as cooling breezes. The first floor offers sweeping views of the surrounding hillside from both inside and out, while the rooftop  terrace looks out over the Atlantic ocean and Vieques's sister island of Culebra.  Jose's Paradise is the perfect  two-person getaway for those looking for privacy, sunsets, and tropical vistas.  The house is located on a large fenced lot with newly planted palm, banana, and other flowering trees and shrubs.  The house's  mid-island location is only 10-15 minutes drive from many of Vieques's beautiful beaches, as well as the shops, restaurants, galleries and historic sites in and around the towns of Isabel Segunda and Esperanza.

Vacation Planning Tips   Three important points :-)

During the high season...

Make sure that you have done the following before pursuing a rental property.

1. Secure a car rental on Vieques.  The island is known for its

beautiful beaches  - many are in remote locations and require a car to get to.

There are now more rental cars on the island but car rentals can still be scarce

during the high season!

2. Purchase plane tickets to the main island of Puerto Rico

 (There are fewer flights going to Puerto Rico from the main land US)

3. Purchase plane  tickets from the main island to Vieques

 ( We recommend Cape Air or Vieques Air link)

The ferry is an option but sometimes NOT reliable.
